Bandit & Boo Boo Update
Do you remember Bandit & Boo Boo, the bonded father/daughter pair of low-content (less than 25%) wolf dogs that had been at the Hanover County Animal Control and Shelter in November of 2020? Our friends at Arizona Husky Rescue in Queen Creek exhaustively networked them to find them a safe and legal home, only to find that both were heartworm positive and would need costly treatment before they could be adopted. We reached out to you, our most valued supporters, and raised the money to get their treatment. But then, sadly, their adopter backed out.
The good news is that a new adopter has been found, the transport has been arranged and paid for by the Plan B Emergency Response Fund, and they'll be starting 2022 in a new home! Watch our Facebook page for more updates as we get them!
